  Creative Minds Arts & Crafts is very pleased to announce its arrival in the heart of Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This vibrant new studio is the result of experienced childcare practitioners recognising the therapeutic benefits that art - in a safe and fun environment - can offer its participants. It is now widely recognised that therapeutic art practices may enhance emotional, physical, and cognitive development of those involved, and the studio founders have previously worked with young children, adolescents and adults with a broad range of adverse experiences, challenging behaviours and additional physical and emotional requirements (such as Cerebral Palsy, Tourettes, Cornelia de Lange syndrome, ADHD, Asperger's and Autism), The studio directors have also adopted the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy) over their many years in child and adult services, so are well placed to support a wide range of participants.The studio will be available 6 days a week between 09.00 - 20.00, and will offer a mix of 90-minute art and crafts sessions, free-play after school and holiday clubs and painting parties. Each of the therapeutic art sessions will be targeted to a particular cohort to ensure stability and a like-minded social bonding experience.We would like to invite you to join us at Creative Minds Arts & Crafts on Saturday 30th September between 11.00 – 14.00 to explore how this new studio could benefit individuals for whom your organisation is responsible; maybe in terms of an additional educational provision, enhancing an otherwise existent curriculum or simply for a few hours respite and enjoyment.Creative Minds Arts & Crafts is passionate about enriching lives, particularly those that are vulnerable and under privileged.
