  Currently, I work as a project engineer & research associate in CPERI/CERTH PSDI lab. The ongoing project I am working on (FLAWLESS) tries to minimize production losses in food industries. Between 2019 - 2021 I was responsible for the construction, the commissioning, and the operation of a relatively large pilot drop tube reactor (Carbonator) that was part of the SOCRATCES thermochemical energy storage system HORIZON-2020 funded. In parallel, I supported the lab by designing parts of several other smaller pilot units, such as the Nanocap reactor, the Cascatbel equipment arrangement, and the FCC electrical upgrade. Show less

  Researcher Phd Candidate

  The scope of this Ph.D. thesis is to examine the possibility of using deep neural networks of several architectures, such as those of Time Delay Neural Networks (TDNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) for early fault detection in industrial and production processes. With this thesis, deep learning architectures that will make the produced models capable of use in real-time production will be developed.
