      Participated in a comprehensive cancer research training program; virtually conducted research in the lab of Dr. Timothy Rebbeck at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Evaluated the link between biological risk factors and non-biological factors (i.e. structural factors such as socioeconomic conditions) in black and white women with breast cancer. Successfully developed a literature review and presented my summer research project, The interaction of biological and non-biological risk factors of breast cancer disparities, at the Yes for CURE Scientific Research Symposium.
