      I attended SDSU in Brookings South Dakota from 1979-1981, then transferred to the U of M to finish up my Bachelor of Science degree. I supported myself through college, and went on to work at Gurney Seed & Nursery, Len Busch Roses, the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Arteka Natural Green, then Keenan & Sveiven, Landscape Architects. It was while employed at Keenan & Sveiven the business of K&S Trees was started.
