      Developing and introducing modern manufacturing technology into the dental industry as both a supplier to large multi-national dental companies, and as a supplier of complete systems for dental laboratories. Responsible for the sales of a range of 3D scanning machines through out the UK and Eire. An interesting position that included sales into diverse markets such as aerospace, automotive, pottery, jewellery and the medical industries. An autonomous role that called for a creative approach to sales that ensured annual growth, often when traditional markets were in decline. Responsible for the installation, end-user training, application support and routine maintenance of the same range of products. This position involved considerable overseas travel throughout Europe, the USA, and some Asia Pacific countries often involving the design and generation of post processors for CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machine tools. Responsible for implementing assembly procedures and processes for newly designed product ranges. This included the design of jigs & fixtures to aid the assembly of precision electro-mechanical assemblies, generation of assembly instructions and QA documentation. Responsible for developing test procedures and equipment, covering manual tests and ATE (Automatic Test Equipment). Responsible for inspection and test of production assemblies including PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) and finished electro-mechanical devices. Working in a production environment assembling PCB's. Including hand built low volume runs as well as automated SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly
