      From my first day at the Umlauf, I was responsible for generating regular social media posts, weekly website updates and monthly e-newsletters for the institution. Over the course of the next three years, I was promoted three times. In my initial position of Museum Coordinator, I organized half-day and full-day service projects for corporate partners and educational groups; interviewed, trained and scheduled volunteers; and served as the main point of contact for guest services. While serving as Interim Development Manager, I took over planning of the Museum’s primary annual fundraiser and maintained the membership benefits program. After my promotion to Events & Marketing Manager, I managed all facility rentals from initial inquiry to day of event, including contract facilitation, payment processing, and scheduling of museum staff and security.Key Results• Authored and won a grant to create a new educational film, the Museum's first in over 25 years, supervising this production from start to finish• Instituted new Point of Sale system and scavenger hunt for enhanced interactive Museum experience• Increased the number of volunteers by 60% in 2011 resulting in over 1,400 hours of service given to the museum Show less

In managing facility rentals, I served as the point of contact for all rental inquiries, conducted venue tours, and developed relationships with event planning professionals.       As Events Manager for Make-A-Wish Maine, I coordinated all aspects of the organization's event production including vendor management, budgeting, contracts, programming, volunteer committee communications, reporting, and logistics. In partnership with a part-time graphic designer, I created and designed event sponsor pitch packets, websites, promotional materials, digital and print collateral, attendee communications, and social media content. Over the course of 5+ years, my events helped raise over 6.5 million for the nonprofit and I stewarded relationships with over 90 businesses, schools, and individual fundraisers around the state, providing digital tool access, serving as Make-A-Wish representative for public speaking invitations, organizing volunteer engagement opportunities, and supporting advocacy efforts with media and branded materials.Key Results• Produced six multimedia presentations from 2020-2022 including writing, filming, and editing the content into final video production to support and supplement virtual fundraising activities• Formed organization’s first young professionals council in 2018.
