      Summary of essential job functionsActively monitor, work and resolve tickets in Global Telecom workgroups to ensure Time to own (TTO) / Time to fix (TTF) objectives are being met and engage appropriate resources to meet those objectives.Triage all network tickets including LAN, WAN, Firewall, Load Balancing, Voice, IPT and DNS in a timely manner. Periodically check HP Service Center (HPSC) for tickets nearing Service Level objectives (TTO/TTF) for Service Requests (SR) and Incidents. Utilize contact database / ITOC Staffing to engage appropriate Global Telecom resources prior to objectives being missed. Provide concise updates to management on critical issues / EscalationsJoin and participate in escalation conference calls. Engage Global Telecom resources when needed. Provide summaries of escalation to management (What is impacted, who is involved, what is being done, sites/servers involved, etc…) Ensure Problem Tickets are created for all Next Generation Data Center (NGDC) escalations. Actively reduce Global Telecom aging ticketsUse HPSC to view aging tickets Utilize other ITOC staff / Global Telecom resources to work old tickets. DocumentationProvide continued updates to Knowledgebase. Ensure other Global Telecom teams are contributing to Knowledgebase. Ensure proper updates are made to site documentation as well as topology maps as changes are made to the network. Show less
