  Fort Meigs Historic Site is a 65-acre National Historic Landmark and one of the Ohio History Connection’s (OHC) 58 historic sites. I served as the Executive Director for the Fort Meigs Association (FMA), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, that manages the daily operations of Fort Meigs. Meaning my regular duties included managing the site's preservation, maintenance, fundraising, and educational and interpretive programming in partnership with the OHC.

  I served as the appointed Clerk to the City Council. In this role, I administered elections, managed and preserved the City’s official documents, recorded City Council minutes, processed licenses governed by the City Code and coordinated Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

  In this role I was responsible for cultivating and deepening intentional relationships with prospective and current grantors, including corporate foundations, individual foundations, and government agencies. Day-to-day work included preparing solicitation proposals, completing letters of interest, grant applications, and writing granted-related and overall fundraising reports. In this position I worked in every area of fundraising for the Symphony, including broad-based giving, major donor giving, corporate giving, fundraising events, and reporting for grants. Day-to-day work included donor communications, data analysis, preparing solicitation proposals, and quarterly planning.
