I was the Director of Materials, reporting to our President, and managed our supply chain to include strategic sourcing and partnership, supplier development and alignment, plant loading and scheduling, replenishment systems, logistics, and inventory management. I had a staff of 9 buyers, planners, and warehouse leaders, and together we coordinated sourcing between plants while lowering our material costs as a percentage of sales.
