  The Indiana Latino Institute, Inc. (ILI) is a non-profit that provides advocacy, leadership and collaboration addressing evolving issues and essential needs that affect Latino communities. ILI is a leader in the Latino community in Indiana for advocacy, resource and referral, research and community assessment and model program development for Latino adults and youth. Starting as an Officer and Board Member and moving to the role of Pres / CEO, I managed the organizations Federal, State, Local and Private grants that provides services primarily in the Health, Education and Advocacy arena. ILI also provdes scholarships to those in need in the Latino community and played a major role in the advancement of Statewide anti-smoking legislation in Indiana. Show less

  MSD of Washington Township - The IT Pathways program teaches Coding, Cybersecurity, and Networking to students at JELCC. I earned my Computer Information Systems and Business Management degrees from Calumet College of St. Joseph. I have spent parts of four (4) decades working and teaching Information Technology related subjects to Corporate America, Non-Profits, Higher Ed and K12 over my career. Over the past decade, I have taught Information Technology related classes to high school, middle and elementary students as well as coaching Girls high school softball. I enjoy helping my students to learn the skills needed to provide a foundation for understanding technology over a lifetime and prepare our students with a foundation for furthering their academic and career opportunities in the workforce. When not working I love spending time with my family, listening to music, and traveling. Show less
