  I work as a research assistant at Dr. Bryan Brown's Lab, which is affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Bioengineering and the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine. I currently work on data analysis for tissue samples for a project that investigates potential ways to regenerate muscle tissue after volumetric muscle loss.

  Research Coordinator

  I worked onsite at UPMC Presbyterian enrolling patients and collecting data for a clinical trial on assessing the accuracy and usability of a modified bed pad for quantifying urine output (invented by Toby Zhu and his team). I also expanded the trial to a medicine unit at UPMC Montefiore and held in-services to educate nurses and PCTs about the product and the trial. Additionally, I made 20 cards for patients, helped nursing staff take care of a wander-risk dementia patient, and helped with hourly rounding. Show less
