Led early initiatives on planning, value engineering, cost/schedule optimization, and professional liability insurance issues, and helped to develop/enforce the Sustainable Airport Manual.2006: Original facilities planner for Chicago's 2016 Olympic bid. 2004: Planning for bio-terrorism preparedness at 104 facilities in Chicago.1999-2003: $630Mill Developer's Rep for Soldier Field Adaptive Reuse. Managed the Soldier Field Redevelopment project including goal definition, development and financing strategy, site selection, design and construction team selection, contracting, design and construction. The project opened in September 2003, and was completed in the shortest timeframe an NFL Stadium has ever been built, and, despite extensive underground contamination remediation, within 2% of original budget, and winning 18 major design & construction awards. It includes 17 new acres of programmed parkland on Chicago’s lakefront. 2001-2002: Managed the concept development and studies for a new football stadium for the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis1999-2000: Developed a project management system for Intermedia to prioritize, select and manage 80 simultaneous software development projects utilizing High Performance Enterprise Engineering methodology. Since 5/1/15, Program Manager for NSS' largest educational program to date: we will demonstrate an artificial intelligence that could be a tutor and mentor to every person on earth and an assistant to every teacher. To motivate students and teachers to participate in our STEM programs and test the AI, we offer free online interactive space science lesson plans for everyone and a contest to present at our annual conference and to fly experiments in space. In 2015, I raised $27.5M of in-kind donations toward our goal of $60M for the first 5 years of our mission. Show less
