I was taught how to search and navigate in Splunk, use fields, get statics from client data, create reports, dashboards, lookups, and alerts. Other areas of curriculum included dataset features, Pivot interface, SPL commands, using field aliases and calculated fields, creating tags and event types, creating workflow actions and data models.

      Managed an integrated architecture of hardware and software while overseeing operations of the Maneuver Control System (MCS) for a Battalion sized element of over 500 Soldiers. Certified on Force XXI platform (FBCB2), utilizing appliqué and embedded system hardware with an interface to a terrestrial communication system of Solaris. Operated a digital TOC in support of numerous annual NTC preparations and rotations while ensuring digital and analog systems were fully functional. Trained and validated new leader and Soldier tasks by incorporating the force XXI digital equipment into standard training curriculum. Successfully served as the platoon leader for three months which included planning and executing two strategic live-fire exercises and platoon services with little supervision.       As a Counter – Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Senior Training Integrator, I bring my expertise on emergent C-UAS capabilities, training, and force modernization background to collaborate with thought leaders in the Force Protection community on the integration of urgent and emergent C-UAS capabilities into Army formations. My roles and responsibilities require me to utilize my skills to assist with the planning and operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UASs) in support of individual and collective training to counter the emergent threat presented by these platforms. I play an integral role in developing training scenarios and UAS threat injects and assisting with the planning of these within the framework of Army Flight regulations while displaying my ability to navigate aviation requirements and unit training plans. My continued coordination with internal and external training stakeholders enhances Force Protection and readiness of soldiers and units. My sUAS Pilot duties require me to oversee the ground and flight operations of an unmanned aircraft system, perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety checks, remote pilot drones following a specific flight plan, conduct flight demonstrations, and ensure compliance with all FA regulations. As part of ground operations, I will perform safety checks and troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues. My other duties during each flight include taking into account the weather, route, fuel or technical requirements of the sUAS, and objective.
