      Southern Illinois University Carbondale's Aviation Weather Dispatch is responsible for managing the everyday operations of SIUC’s Aviation Flight Department. Dispatch is responsible for dispatching and monitoring SIUC’s 37 aircraft and numerous flight training devices. In addition, SIUC’s Aviation Weather Dispatch is a National Weather Service certified weather station, responsible for observing and reporting local weather information.
