Develop new and exciting physical activity initiatives in the community specifically for those aged 16+. Encourage members of the public to meet 150 minutes of sport and/or physical activity on a weekly basis.Outcomes:Established regular workplace health policies in several large businesses thought-out the district. Creation of over 10,000 physical activity opportunities through beginner’s sessions. Event managed Sport Relief Mile 2008 and 2010 and first ever Try a Tri event in the district. Client retention, income generation, recruitment and selection, CPD of all health and fitness staff, managing revenue streams, procurement of external funding, partnership working, chair of health and fitness improvement team, marketing and promotion of new and existing initiates, co-ordinate group exercise programme.Outcomes:Raising group exercise utilisation from 45% to 75% from 2007-2008 and played pivotal role in increasing the center’s membership attrition rate by 15% in the same year.Instrumental in securing a tender worth £250,000 for full refurbishment of two 1000 member fitness suites and both their subsequent re-launches in November 2007.
