  I spent 6 months in Japan studying Japanese. I've also had many opportunities to develop team working skills by collaborating on projects and public speaking skills by presenting research topics and project results to other students and lecturers.I'm currently undertaking a year-long project in machine learning using Restricted Boltzmann Machines using python and have completed several computational projects using Matlab.I have been an active member of the University of Nottingham Climbing Society, participating in varsity events against other universities and traveling around the country on trips to climb.
