I built on my teamwork skills as I came together with colleagues in busy times, especially during COVID 19 when there were restrictions on leaving the country for holidays.   - Pro bono casework involving deep analysis and investigation into the cases of those who feel they have been wrongly convicted of a crime. - Introduced to the legal database Clio and learnt to navigate it well.- Conducted independent research and analysis. My findings were then presented to the team in order to discuss further paths of investigation and ensure tasks were being completed on time.

  Work Experience

  I spent two weeks with Marcus Brace, consultant at CJCH, who specialises in business acquisitions and sales, litigation and property law.I created trial bundles for barristers in cases of debt recovery and filed applications to the court via online portals. I used the legal database Leap, uploading documents and using templates to correspond with clients. I filed an application for adverse possession to the Land Registry, which included drafting a Statutory Declaration for the client. I then attended a meeting with the client following this to discuss the drafted declaration. Show less
