  This is a highly selective program where 3% of engineering students across the entire faculty are selected each year. SELA pride themselves with creating the next generation of engineering leaders each with their own enterprise capability, good judgement, and self-awareness as well as their technical and academic skills. This involves working with other students and people from industry in a variety of workshops and group projects to develop my leadership skills. A project was completed for each year of the program:• Project 2050 – promoting the value of engineering for solving global challenges through an online game and an exhibit at Festival of the Mind 2020.• Project SMART cities – exploring how AI and machine learning can be used to develop SMART towns/cities.   • Developing the new Digital Innovation Zone based in the Engineering Department at the University of Sheffield, including installing MindSphere, Mendix, gProms, PharmaMV and Solid Edge in the Siemens sponsored innovation zone and creating guides for student using the labs.• Working as a MindSphere expert on multiple research projects that used Node-Red and other programming platforms to create IOT sensor networks.• Participating in the Siemens’ Intern Development Program and completing training in topics ranging from cybersecurity to business influencing skills.• Engineering expert on the ‘Go Blue’ Intern Collaboration Project that aimed to improve the public knowledge of Siemens’ sustainability credentials.• Managing the conference area for and representing the Research and Innovation Ecosystems at Siemens Transform 2022.
