  I synthesized and characterized thiememicarbazonic complexes of copper and zinc with potential antifungal activity. The thesis was born as a result of the problems related to the development of Aspergillus Flavis mushrooms in stored corn: in fact, the previous summer had been very rainy and the food showed traces of humidity. The developed mushrooms released aflatoxins, toxic to humans, so the apoptosis of the cell was essential for good food preservation. The complexes I synthesized, and particularly those whose metal ion was copper, showed a specific affinity with albumin, a protein that transports them through the cell membrane into the nucleus, where the compounds can then operate.   In collaboration with IMEM-CNR, I dealt with the synthesis and characterization of ferroelectric materials as they seem to have a particular interest in future developments in the field of solar energy and photovoltaic panels. I tried to optimize different synthesis techniques to get the desired product. The characterizations expected the use of powder diffractometer mainly, single crystal diffractometer and SQUID for the magnetic characteristics. All data are analyzed with various suitable programs, among them PCW, Vesta, Expo2014, Jana2006 and match !. Show less

  Seasonal work at Mutti S.p.A.I carry out quality analysis on semi-finished and finished products, in particular on tomato purée, double and triple concentrate, pizza sauce and pulp in large format (3-5 kg). After sampling directly from the pilot plant and from the line, I check compliance and I work with the production in order to obtain the product with the best characteristics.In particular I take care of controlling pH, optical refractometric residue, viscosity, acidity and salt percentage of the products, entering the data obtained through the Sinfo one management system.   The Technical Customer Support Specialist is a very versatile position. In order to properly support the Customer whit a technical request, the TCS Specialist has to know the entire production process and acquire technical knowledge concerning tests, supply chain, new products development.For this reason, my work experience evolved in an apprenticeship programme concerning the technical assistance in pharmaceutical glass and plastic items.During this period I will have to deal mainly with:- management of requests and communications with Customers (complaints and certifications);- management of alignment issues between product quality and the level defined/expected by the customer;- elaborate/review of technical specifications and agreements;- knowledge of the entire production processes;- management of internal documentation;- use of Oracle management system;- recognise non-conformities and identify causes and possible solutions;- knowledge some of the International Norms used in the pharmaceutical field in order to assess the quality of the production such as, but not limited to, Editio Cantor, ISO2859-1 and PDA- back office: weekly and monthly data update.
