      Worked mostly in the Case Management Team however also spent time in Response, Youth Justice and Disability. Home visits, organising and supervising contact between child, parent and siblings, writing up and serving witness summons and affidavits, attending court matters, creating contact schedules for clients and their families, writing up assessments and case notes, collaborating to devise safety plans, devising plans for protective interventions, resourcing useful organisations and programs, organizing prison visits, part-taking in Care Team meetings and professionals meetings.       Project Respect is a support and referral service for women in the sex industry, including women who have been trafficked in Australia. My responsibilities and activities in this placement include maintaining stock levels for gift packs, communicating with women in the sex industry when on outreach to legal brothels across Melbourne, and conducting a discourse analysis on purchasers of sexual services in the illegal brothel sector of Melbourne.

      The objective of a CRC worker is to proactively case manage and provide outreach services for complex clients engaging in alcohol and other drug treatment. This involves supporting clients and their families around housing, mental health and legal issues amongst other things, to enhance their treatment outcomes. Role included gaining experience across many roles and locations over the 12 month program including AOD counselling, care and recovery coordination and day rehab group facilitation.
