The main objective of the Departmental Seminar Series is to provide flagship externally facing events for the Department of Education, University of Bath. We aim to invite seminar speakers whose research is interesting, exciting and significant (even - pushing boundaries in their field). This research aligns with the work we are doing in the department so that seminars will appeal to departmental colleagues and students, and potentially, academic colleagues across the university, and a wider public audience. We aim to have one seminar per year with a speaker from the local community to help us push on with our strategic aims of public engagement and building civic partnerships. Show less
