  Duties & Responsibilities: CKD PARTS / IMPORTED PARTS• Analyze Pack Plan Proposal received from Land Rover (UK) every month and intimate the changes required to Land Rover, to support our build plan• Interaction with Land Rover UK in conference calls and through emails• Discuss CKD Shipment issues with Land Rover UK in logistics conference call• Calculate the actual requirements of all Imported Parts as per the applicability and consumption. Approach to the selected international supplier, obtain quotation and negotiate with them on their quotation provided and prepare Orders for them• Monitor and track the Shipment/Container of CKD kits that help us to know when the ship is expected to arrive at port and pass the info to Production Department so they can plan for future build• Ensure safe De-stuffing of CKD Shipments from container and store in CKD Warehouse• Claims in case of Short Quantity, Damage, Incomplete, Incorrect and Missing parts• Monitoring the issuance of CKD parts to Assembly Line in accordance with the Model / Variant Build• To keep track of availability of over 7000 parts used in every Model• User of Microcat Live (online Land Rover parts catalogue)• Monitoring different reports like Stock of Kits, Kits on High Sea with their Expected Dock Dates, Kits on Port, Kits received at Plant, Outstanding Claimed parts/Ordered parts etc…STORE KEEPING AND WAREHOUSING – LOCAL PARTS• Planning to procure the local content material required for assembly of Defender • Calculate the actual requirements of all Local Parts and Lubricants required to support the Production Plan• To issue Purchase /Work Orders to the suppliers• To prepare yearly Budget for all local parts, paints and consumables etc.• Support Finance Department in Financial Audit• Fulfill the demands of items from After Sales & Service Centers, if available in stock• Monitoring different reports like Shortage, Daily Receiving6, Daily issuance, Monthly Issuance Summary etc. Show less
