      A multi-faceted, entertainment company centred around the ever-changing face of youth culture: 2 week placement- Shadowed the music manager for the duration of the placement- Sent out on various missions + tasks across London - Selected to go to a live Radio launch for one of their artists- Assembled the stage set up and take down for singer BB diamonds Radio launch- Carried out detailed risk assessment to identifying any potential hazards on the day- Responsible for replacing any missing items or faulty equipment as promptly as possible- Greeted and engaged with audience members by handing around refreshments throughout- Monitored crowd management Key skills gained: Valuable communication skills when being pushed out of my comfort zone to work with people I had never met before.       A three month module assignment where we curated 'Faces of Falmouth' a week long outdoor photography exhibition exposing the hidden faces and stories from the local community. - Consistent communication with portrait photographer - Worked with numerous external stakeholder - Negotiated sponsorship with the restaurant 'The Stable' which covered some printing costs- Extensive market research via primary (survey) and secondary research - Interacted with locals to target the most interesting people to display at the exhibition- Interviewed and scribed fascinating life stories from familiar faces in the local town- Prepared a constant stream of social media posts to boost online attraction and pre event build up- Organise + erect the prints so they were aesthetically pleasing and eligible to the public- Systematically organised our time in the lead up to the event with an on the week schedule (see picture below)- Monitored our budget closely and constantly referring back as the backbone to the eventKey skills gained: taught me multiple different accepts of design and teamwork but I mostly enjoyed the challenge of creating a meaningful exhibition in a small town environment. Show less A three month module assignment* A flash clothes sale where we created a 'pop up' shopping space for an hour, adorned with music, mirrors and clothing hand selected by us from Cornwall Hospice Care (100% of proceeds raised were given back to CHC + we raised £200)- Working first hand with a charity to keep them informed at all times- Formulate a Gantt chart to ensure event operations and implementation happen on schedule (see picture below)- Organise clothing + accessories into specific categories- Assist the tech team with lighting required for the shop display- Create and follow on the day schedule to ensure the event runs smoothly + on time- Carry out a detailed risk assessment to mitigate any hazards - Handle, collect and total up cash payments swiftly Key skills gained: how to liaise professionally with a large scale charity and manage a team whilst punters are in full swing.       Our final three month module assignment: We created Breakfast Boogie a sober morning fitness rave to demonstrate the benefits that exercise can have on peoples wellbeing; in collaboration with the local mind charity. - Extensive market reproach was carried out through desk based and an online survey to ensure the feasibility + demand of the event concept- Generated a detailed SWOT analysis (see picture below) to understand any internal or external challenges or strengths to utilise. - Worked alongside multiple internal and external stakeholders creating a power interest matrix to best understand how to manage them (see picture below) - Held three separate fundraising events in the form of a dj event night and two bake sales, combined income totalled £655 for mind charity (see picture below)- Worked closely alongside our graphic designer, who created our Breakfast Boogie poster (see picture below) - Liaised with stage management at the venue to carry out tech dress rehearsal with circus performers, Zumba teacher, hip hop society and dj- Advertised on local radio station Source FM - Briefed chefs on 'healthy breakfast buffet' to make sure the food on the day served was in line with event mission of healthy minds. - Learnt how to manage volunteers to the best of my ability- Risk recognition we ensured all attendees signed waivers that covered us in case of any potential health accidents Key skills gained: out of all three events throughout university Breakfast Boogie pushed me to achieve the highest output and rewarded us with a triumphant event thats legacy will be carried on by the university in future years to come.
