  During my time as a Product Engineer Intern at PROS, I successfully participated in the development of an innovative internal feature—a highly efficient and intelligent chatbot. This chatbot was specifically designed to leverage internal documentation and provide accurate answers to user inquiries.My primary focus was on implementing a robust knowledge management system that facilitated seamless access to internal documents. To achieve this, I utilized a vector store approach, storing the relevant documents as vectors for efficient retrieval. Through the utilization of advanced embedding similarity search techniques, the chatbot identified the most suitable documents needed to address specific questions.By leveraging the power of machine learning and natural language processing, the chatbot processed the user's inquiry and extracted the essential information required to formulate a precise response. It analyzed the provided question, matched it with the most relevant documents, and generated a comprehensive and accurate answer.The successful implementation of this internal chatbot significantly enhanced the efficiency and accessibility of internal knowledge resources within the organization. It allowed employees to efficiently obtain answers to their questions, saving valuable time and promoting productivity.
