      Jan 2012 - Apr 2015
      Executive Director

As ED, I was responsible for all fundraising, program design and implementation, hiring staff, reporting program outcomes and financial information to the Board of Directors, grant-writing and other responsibilities as needed.I also led 1-2 Bike Clubs every semester and helped troubleshoot problems at sites experiencing problems with students or school staff.FreeWheels's success often depended on building community support around the ideas of Bike Club students, and I spent a good deal of my time working to spread the vision of a healthy community and build consensus among stakeholders to accomplish that vision. FreeWheels has had incredible success thanks to the combination of hands-on Bike Club programming and behind-the-scenes advocacy. Show less
