      Education Program Developer

In this role, I was dedicated to planning and organizing the annual summer camp program, including designing and developing 12 weeks of summer camps, averaging 14 half day and 2 full day camps per week, with ~3,400 campers per summer, ages 3 to 14. I managed a $700K budget while working to maximize enrollment and deliver one of the museum’s largest revenue streams and most profitable programs. To achieve all program goals, I worked with outside organizations to coordinate off-site camps such as St Catherine’s University, the University of MN, The Blake School, and SteppingStone Theatre. I also partnered with other museum departments to optimize resource allocation and create robust and unique programming. Additionally, I assisted in the hiring and training of dozens of camp counselors and full-time teachers, coordinated all logistics, and provided daily troubleshooting and customer relations. Achievements include:> Analyzed annual sales data and ongoing real-time statistics to make informed programming decisions; increased sales 2% while maintaining 90%+ enrollment year-over-year.> Led the implementation of new project management software and processes to streamline work and lift efficiency. > Headed procurement of new computer lab equipment and the production of a summer catalog each year.> Served on the Change Management Group for museum-wide cultural improvement, acted as a founding member of the museum’s Networking Lab, and represented the museum during their racial equity initiative. > Developed a summer camp blog to communicate with parents while serving as liaison to resolve issues or complaints.
