  Logistics Assistant

  This summer I was honoured to work for the Palais des Nations in Geneva as a logistics assistant in July. This experience allowed me to gain a broader view on the various decision making and problem solving skills required when managing issues of global caliber. My role was to provide assistance during conferences to diplomats as well as deputy chair members delivering up to date documents and files being discussed in the various sessions. I had the opportunity to improve my time management skills in prioritizing different tasks based on their importance and developed great sense of responsibility in ensuring every document being delivered did not contain any mistakes or errors. I am truly grateful to have had the chance to work in such an international environment; and be able to better comprehend the essence of precision and attention to detail in such a prestigious organisation.
