The experience of PWT and the quality that this company is known for was the reason that lead to PWT contracting the reabilitation of the Wastewater treatment plant of Timisoara city.   Aquatim is a regional water and wastewater provider for the Timis county and afferent region. As a solely provider of water/wastewater utilities, Aquatim has primarly a high public importance as to life quality of the clients. The following tasks were undertaken during the implementation of the project:- Cooperation with the Technical Assistance Consultant for the preparation of all the documents included in the Application for the Cohesion Fund in order to access European funds so as to upgrade the water and water infrastructure in Timis County to meet the EU quality standards and to achieve the institutional strengthening of the water and wastewater operating company, as well as the regionalization of the corresponding public services;- Collection of all technical data required for the elaboration of the Feasibility Study for the priority investments, of the corresponding Environment Impact Assessment report and of the Cost-Benefit Analysis;- Cooperation at the elaboration of the tender documents for the works and service contracts to be financed under the Cohesion Fund;- Checking the technical aspects of the tender documents prepared by the Technical Assistance Consultant for all the works contracts related to the extension and modernization of the water supply system, of the sewerage network and of the drinking water and wastewater treatment plants;- Checking the Terms of Reference for the technical assistance contracts, namely: Technical Assistance for Project Management and Technical Assistance for Works Contracts Supervision;- Checking and issuing comments for the reports submitted by the Technical Assistance Consultant;- Preparation of the reports required by the stakeholders involved in the implementation of the ISPA Measure;Value of project : approx. 118 mil. euro Show less

  Hydropol is the General Contractor for a big project consisting of rehabilitation of the hydro-energetic system of Resita. The system is formed by four powerplants, one pumping station and approx.64 km of intake channels. The final Beneficiary is a big company in the field of producing and distributing electricity in Romania and the contract's type is an EPC one (turn key).The follwoing tasks were undertaken during the implementation of the project:- Managing the team of four engineers (Site Managers) from daily site execution issues to agree with all parties involved the changing of technical solutions and from insuring good communication with the subcontractors up to issuing payrolls and sending them to accounting company for final payment;- Managing the subcontractors on site starting from site handover protocols, arranging ofworking schedules, making sure that all legally requested protocols were issued and signed byall parties involved, checking of the Bill of Quantities,being the interface between publicauthorities and the subcontractors;- Making on site inspections in order to sign all the reception protocol for works as stated by the valid norms for making the Construction Book of the investment;- Interface with all speciality designers from site visits till technical changes in the design theme based on requests of the final Beneficiary;- Checking of the documentation for permitting and insuring a speed up of the permitting process;- Negotiating contractual terms and drafting of contracts, making part of the procurement workin order to speed up the evolution of the process;- Making bill of expenses and organizing internal expenditures, arranging for all insurance policies as requested by the EPC contract.Value of project : approx. 35 mil. euro Show less
