Provided Individual therapy, intake/assessments, milieu counseling and group facilitation in the evening program for substance abuse and criminal justice clients of an intensive 12 month treatment program. In addition to therapy and case management, Options provides transitional housing and emergency shelter. Clients of the program participate in daily 12 step meetings, a 5 Phase curriculum, which is supplemented with acupuncture, meditation, tai chi and yoga, educational and vocational counseling and job placement assistance; weekly groups including art therapy, denial and anger management, families and parenting and smoking cessation.Options has effectively built a community of recovery among rehabilitated hard-core ex-offenders and is helping to break the cycle of crime, broken families and homelessness caused by addiction.
