Responsible for the customer satisfaction and the cost, schedule and performance of all AV-8B Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) events, special re-work repairs, and crash damage repairs. Established Turn Around Time (TAT) goals to meet customer requirements, developed material assessment improvements to increase availability, and created an independent aircraft crash damage repair line to meet fleet requirements. Responsible for the safety, readiness, reliability and overall life cycle support of the AV-8B propulsion system for the United States Marine Corps and the Spanish and Italian Navies. Managed all contracting, logistics, production, and engineering efforts including research, design, test and evaluation to produce quality engines to support fleet readiness and sustainment requirements. Led a cross-functional team of 50 personnel.
