  Through the State Department's Diplomacy Lab program, I worked as part of a team of University of Michigan students as a researcher and author investigating chemical precursor manufacturing in China and its surrounding countries. Following several months of extensive research, we drafted a report for the INL which they will use to help implement policy regarding Chinese chemical precursor production and regulating the trafficking of narcotics.

  Through the State Department's Diplomacy Lab program, I worked with a team of University of Michigan students as a researcher and author assisting the U.S. Embassy in Reykjavik, Iceland by detailing the country's current economic relations with other Arctic nations as well as its potential tourism and trading prospects driven by the effects of climate change. Following several months of extensive research, we crafted a report and presentation for the U.S. Embassy which they will use to implement foreign policy decisions and direct their investment in the proper Icelandic industries.
