  I had the opportunity to conduct a quality assurance project aimed to explore the public health issue of vaccine hesitancy in adults diagnosed with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) in Saskatchewan. This demographic experiences intellectual, physical, and/or social challenges, and may struggle to decipher changing public health orders implemented to mitigate COVID-19 including vaccination protocols. Working with both the U of S and the Saskatchewan FASD network, I created a survey to measure current attitudes held by individuals diagnosed with FASD in Saskatchewan regarding vaccinations and the ability to access the public health system.
