      Aug 2011 - Aug 2013
      Marshal

Between August 2011 and Aiugust 2013 I supported Lincolnshire Airsoft Club in a voluntary capacity on two Sundays every month throughout the year. During my time with the club I acted as a Club Marshal, a position that brought me into contact with a diverse group of people aged from 10 years old through to senior years. My duties as a marshall included preparation for events, running the shop when the regular shop staff were not in attendance, ensuring player safety and assessing risk, arranging and running games, conflict resolution and providing first aid. I also acted as the club photographer and provided this service free of charge.Another role that I hold within the club is that of Club Photographer. Whenever marshalling I use my camera and photographic skills to document the games and players actions, there pictures have been warmly received and many players ask for copies of their pictures. Aug 2012 - Jan 2013
      Amateur Journalist

Whilst managing to balance a hectic work schedule and the needs of no family I also worked in the time to write articles for a national airsoft magazine (Airsoft Action). I was responsible for finding my own inspiration for each article, formulating concerts, structuring the article and providing my own photographic material for each article.

    • Costain Group PLC

      Jan 2014 - Mar 2015
      Industrial Cleaner

My initial employment with Costain involved me cleaning Aviation Fuel storage tanks at an MOD facility, utilising breathing apparatus, but I was soon moved to work on the shutdown at the Total Refinery in Killinghome where I acted as an Industrial Cleaner and hole watcher - again the role often required use of breathing apparatus and I was also trained to work on the HF Acid plant. Both roles gave me the skills and experience required for working on a Tier 1 CoMAH facility and gave me an insight into the level of safety and awareness needed for working with petrochemicals.
