      Dam Safety Program Manager overseeing execution of the Fort Worth District’s routine dam safety program for 25 dams and serving as the primary point of contact and technical lead. Coordinates budgeting and resourcing for current fiscal year to meet mission objectives within expected timeframes and achieve funding execution metrics. Develops budget according to the OMB budget cycle for multi-million dollar routine Dam Safety Program for Fort Worth District. Uses risk management approach and risk informed decision making to manage and prioritize District dam safety activities in an effort to achieve the tolerable risk guidelines. Ensures alignment of external dam risk communication efforts through coordination with Public Affairs Office, Emergency Management, Project Operations, Programs and Project Management, Planning, and the District Silver Jackets representative. Provides technical advice and direction to dam safety leads and support personnel. Performs quality control reviews of design documents, inspection reports, emergency action plans, instrumentation evaluations and after action reports completed by dam safety team members for content, technical adequacy, and conformance with policy and criteria. Coordinates with other District elements to ensure dam safety concerns and priorities are communicated and included in upward reporting documents.
