      Activities and Societies: MU Graduate Student Association My thesis focused on the paleoclimatic changes across the Dubuque/Maquoketa formation contact in NE Iowa and SW WI during the late Ordovician. I utilized stable isotope geochemistry to determine seawater source, and temperature change. I ran my own oxygen isotope samples in the University of Missouri stable isotope research lab, as well as conducted a micropaleontology faunal assemblage study.

      Graduate minor in College Science Teaching was done with an emphasis in the geosciences. I conducted my teaching practicum by redesigning the lab portion of Intro to Paleontology, and guest taught a number of lectures in non-major courses such as Biohazards, and Dinosaurs.

      Worked as both an exploration and exploitation geologist in the Anadarko Basin in Oklahoma, with mentoring and field trip planning experience.- Prospected, planned, and drilled successful Skinner Wash wells in NW Oklahoma, resulting in a Tier 1 acreage acquisition based on the success of those wells. - Evaluated a Marmaton prospect that resulted in a 1 million dollar acreage acquisition and worked closely with reservoir engineers and the land department to develop a drilling development plan.- Worked on additional small prospects in the Atoka, Granite Wash, Woodford, Sycamore, Britt Sand, and Cleveland sands.- Mentored a summer geological sciences intern, whose summer project yielded 20+ drillable locations and a return internship offer.- Co-Developed a in-house field training course in Arkansas aimed at entry level geoscientists. Worked the DJ, Williston, Anadarko, and North Park basins in this process.- Developed a drilling program for uphole development of STACK acreage through the use of core analysis, regional mapping, and OBO positions. Successfully divested the acreage in a private sale.- Directed all core analysis and geochemical studies for the company. In addition to performing physical rock analysis, facies interpretations, ichnofacies identification, geochemical sampling and analysis; also performed cathodoluminescence petrography on thin sections to construct a paragenesis model for the Mississippian core.- Digitally drafted many company presentation graphics as visual aids to geologic concepts.
