      LearnNowBC hired me to supervise the live online tutoring program offered to the students of British Columbia. I was responsible for hiring the online tutors, supervising tutors, sharing best practices with tutors, working with challenging students, observing sessions for quality control, tutor training, approving monthly time sheets, scheduling and adjusting shifts, reviewing and responding to student feedback/concerns.       As a teacher with SD73, I work with a team to create an inclusive, blended program for students with Autism which melds online and face to face learning opportunities in a relationship-centered environment. The students of this ever growing learning center are fully supported with a multi-disciplinary team including tutors, SLP, OT and Behaviour Specialists. My role as the teacher is to create individualized programs for each student, assess and adapt work, creatively match students interests with the BC curriculum, communicate with parents, tutors and other specialists to ensure that all of their educational and social needs are being met.
