During this time he used his educational knowledge to focus on streamlining processes within Finance Department. He designed and implemented a new automated credit control system linking client database and accounting systems with all sale systems in order to centrally manage clients purchase credits and outstanding debts. The new system resulted in a 70% reduction of outstanding and overdue payments which significantly improved cash flow as well as reduced operating and borrowing costs for the whole firm. He also introduced a “buy to order” policy for all vehicles the company was selling, resulting in much tighter sale department controls and a reduction of cash trapped in company stock by two thirds. May 2005 - May 2015In May 2011, as a response to changing legal market conditions and in anticipation of growing client’s expectations, Artur was asked to create a new department dedicated to the transformation of Eversheds traditional legal work. As such, he has been responsible for running the Transformation and Implementation Team the aim of which is to identify and transform inefficient volume legal services into market leading and innovative products for Eversheds clients. The team adopted the Lean Six Sigma management methodology of continuous improvement and are using workflow management systems to manage all matters from client instruction to file closure. A key part of Artur’s role is to work with clients on on-boarding of the new services into Eversheds, managing initial client relationships, ensuring the client’s requirements are understood and delivered in an organised and efficient way with governance throughout the entire process.Artur is also responsible for the day-to-day development and management of the Central Legal Team, specialising in delivering innovative, process driven volume services and products to Eversheds clients. Currently the Central Legal Team covers six products across three of Eversheds’ four Practice Groups: Real Estate, Company Commercial and Human Resource.Artur is experienced in managing High Performance Teams, Business Process Reengineering and managing large projects and programs. He is Prince 2 and Lean Six Sigma qualified. Artur has a proven track record of producing comprehensive Management Information and using it to drive team performance, business improvements and client service excellence. Morgan, Lloyds Banking Group, Microsoft; Show less Artur’s natural progression from his previous position was to take over the Legal Manager role responsible for the day to day management of the entire back office section of the Volume Services department. He has continued his mission to transform operations and drive innovative solutions to internal inefficiencies and maximise client’s value and satisfaction. On top of his previous unit he took over 4 additional teams: Post Room, Payments Allocation, Complaints & Compliance and Credit Reporting. He undertook a large program of business change and through methodical and process controlled transformation he consolidated all support functions and reduced the size of the section from 53 to 30 FTE. Over this time he expanded his Business Intelligence and Project Management teams further improving efficiency and quality of work not only of his unit but the whole department. His dedication to a structured and controlled way of working created solid foundations for ever increasing compliance requirements of Financial Services clients and drastically reduced the number of customer complaints. One of major projects Artur led was the Electronic Data Exchange which has been instigated to increase efficiency and reduce the operational costs of Volume Services department, which each month received over 80,000 pieces of correspondence from over 300 suppliers. The outcome of the project was an automated data exchange process with all major suppliers reducing paperwork handled by the department by 50% and drastically reducing turnaround times for the client. Another of Artur’s key achievements in this role was the implementation of the change control process and business tasks control/exception matrix, ensuring that every one of 300+ BAU processes was correctly completed every month. Show less On the back of the Data Management Team success Artur was asked to step up to the Data Manager role and take over responsibility for IT relationships and projects, management of internal IT developers and client relationships for all technical aspects of the business. Artur’s focus was on creating more value for the client and driving efficiency of the unit. He introduced more structured way of working, adapted lean processing methodology and introduced a dedicated project management team to organise and manage all major internal and external projects. He successfully implemented change process in his unit and directed redevelopment of the case management system which increased the department’s productivity by circa 50%. He was responsible for Project Management of various large projects like Consumer Credit Act legislation change, standardisation and automation of all BAU data tasks or outsourcing of bulk letters production (approx. 2m letters per year) which saved Eversheds hundreds of thousands of pounds per annum. Show less In May 2007 Artur was promoted to Data Management Team Leader tasked to consolidate the team’s resources and create a team producing industry leading MI. Combining his MI knowledge with a management education background Artur created his first High Performance Team consisting of 10 highly skilled and professional Data Analysts. The team specialised in industry and portfolio analysis. The work of the team led to significant reduction of operating costs, improved profitability for the business and increased revenue for the client. As a result of the teams professionalism and expertise in its’ field the client’s own analytical team was disbanded and Eversheds Business Intelligence Team continues to be utilised to drive key client’s business decisions. At the same time Eversheds further imbedded their relationship with the client proactively providing them with an innovative and market leading service. Show less Working for one of Eversheds largest contracts, Artur’s role was to deliver Business Intelligence to both the client and internal senior management team. Extracting and analysing relevant financial business data coupled with compiling data intelligence on market conditions in order to establish trends within the portfolio and market. Interpretation of this data defined trends in line with the business strategy and enabled investigation of potential issues and/or opportunities. Artur was successfully using his experience and management knowledge to provide both internal business managers and the external clients with information on how to navigate their business in order to maximise revenue and profit whilst minimising costs thereby optimising strategic competitive positions in the marketplace.
