Those with responsibilities such as mine were called "Keeper's of the Dragon." I had a great team of Gunner's Mates who were instrumental in making sure that we successfully completed every transfer at sea and while pier-side with "ZERO" incidents or accidents, and passed every grueling inspection with noteworthy praise.       Responsible for records management at the Casino. Responsible for the development and approval of written and electronic policies and procedures for 35 departments. Streamlined the process of review and approval from months down to days. Migrated to a strictly electronic format using Policytech software. Currently have over 1,000 procedures on file. At the direction of the Tribal Counsel and General Manager, spent 1 year developing a week long New Employee Boot Camp (indoctrination). Then added 4 Trainers and an Admin Assistant to work on the development and presentation of over 25 training topics to a Casino team of over 1,500. Responsible to the Tribal Counsel and CEO for the day to day operations of the Casino. Member of the Executive Committee. Also conducted Safety Training and re-established an Employee Handbook. Began writing policies and procedures for the Casino Manager Dept and other departments, where none existed before. Involved with a multi-million dollar expansion of the Casino.
