    • Schlumberger

      Sept 2008 - Sept 2015

My main duties are to prepare service tools and completion equipment for Sand Control jobs here in Kome, Chad as part of the ESSO Doba project. My responsibilities include quality control of oilfield equipment, compliance with safety/local laws, and installation at the wellsite. I also use my 7 years of experience in Sand Control to coach younger personnel. I work a 28x28 day schedule. Same duties as before, with a raise... My main duties are to prepare service tools and equipment for lower completion jobs in the North Sea. I was given the role of Project Engineer for TOTAL E&P UK for their Laggan-Tormore project. My responsibilities include procurement of equipment, service equipment allocation, and installation. I perform duties of both PE and Field Engineer for other jobs that arise. I began my cross-training into Sand Control Tools & Screens. My duties were to prepare service tools capable of setting packers and installing screens and other lower completion equipment. I was also involved in upper completion installations and testing, such as flow control valves, chemical injection mandrels, gauges, and safety valves, due to lack of personnel in the location. I worked as a fracturing/stimulation engineer in the Gulf of Mexico for Sand Control Pumping & Fluids. My main duties were to design pumping procedures and run fluid analyses on proppant-carrying gels and fluids. I also used the Schlumberger FracCAT acquisition system to monitor and control pumping from the ship in real time. I performed several hydraulic fracturing jobs, as well as countless gravel packs and matrix acidizations.
