  I spent a summer working on a 3,300 acre registered Hereford operation in Southwest Missouri. During my time at the ranch primary responsibility was caring for 140 head of cattle including: fall calves, bred heifers, and sale cattle. I also assisted with hay production, building fence, maintaining farm equipment, and taking care of the ranch's other cattle.

  During my time at Genex I was responsible for the day to day care of around 70 bulls. I would feed the bulls twice daily, assist with herd health protocols, bed bulls and haul manure. During collection days I also assisted with semen collection by bringing bulls from the barn to the collection area, holding steers, and assisting with other tasks.

  Utility Forester

  As a Utility Forester I would hike power line right-of-ways and look for tree limbs that were encroaching on the right-of-ways. Trees which had limbs within the specified distance would be marked using spray paint and a GPS marker would be placed in that location using a Trimble Juno handheld computer. Once the circuit was complete I would print the work orders. A significant portion of my job was addressing concerns that property owners had with tree trimming on their property and de-escalating situations with unhappy customers. Show less

  Managing Member

  I was the Managing Member of Kirksville Food Delivery. We were an on demand food delivery service which specialized in fast and friendly service at an affordable price. Since our founding in May of 2016 we built a growing base of loyal customers. We also provided a valuable service to local restaurants, who saw an increase in sales since partnering with us. As the Managing Member I oversaw all aspects of the business from contract negotiation, to bookkeeping, to delivering the food.
