  Responsible for administrative, budgetary and financial oversight for the College of Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences, including the clinics within the College to assist the Dean; performing a variety of activities including administrative management, fiscal and budgetary management, database management, coordinating state and grant budgets; providing analysis and annual report of departmental and clinic performance and expenditures; developing office policies and procedures including assisting the Dean in establishing policies and procedures for the college’s faculty practice plan; assisting Dean in daily administrative operations of the college to ensure fiscal integrity and compliance with policies and procedures of the Academic Health Science Center and the university; serve as member of the dean’s administrative team and assists with strategic planning. I also director the assessment process for the college. Show less In my current role as Assistant Dean of ETSU’s College of Clinical & Rehabilitative Health Sciences, my responsibilities are broad. I serve as the College’s chief fiscal officer, hiring manager, director of clinical operations, and director of assessment. I have experience in working with faculty on grant development and management, foundation accounts, and I have managed multiple renovation projects for the College, the largest of which was a $1.75 million renovation of our Physical Therapy Department. I currently manage a college budget of more than $17.5 million. In addition to my role as Assistant Dean, I work in the ETSU Office of Institutional Research as a special assistant. I was selected for this role due to my leadership in the development of ETSU’s decentralized budget model which was implemented beginning in 2017. In my position as a special assistant, I serve as a liaison between the colleges and the university top administrative leadership. I work with Deans to help them set budget priorities for their college, determine financial strategies, and effect a financial plan that enables them to balance their budgets despite challenging financial conditions Show less
