  As a research assistant for this program, I've learned much about the previous and current research being conducted surrounding adoption. I sit in on weekly lab meetings and work with a graduate student to help with anything they might need. I have been helping code transcripts and providing input about future coding schemes from adoption-related interviews. I hope to complete my honors thesis with this program. In this position, I assist the professor in a class of 300 students. I hold office hours, run review sessions, and help proctor in-class exams. I also help grade assignments and attend weekly lab meetings to stay in communication with my fellow TA's.
