As an education consultant at SmithBucklin, I worked with Board members and key volunteers from my client associations to grow their organization by offering members top-notch, customized year-round education. What sorts of offerings did I cultivate when proposing and implementing a year-round education program? I collaborated with my internal teams as well as subject matter experts to develop webinars, podcasts, live-capture recordings, white papers, breakout session and keynote conference programming, mobile applications, e-Learning modules, and live virtual events that allowed my client associations to be the premier resource for their members to stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and professional development opportunities.   I founded, managed and hosted People Operations Moonshot Tank, a yearly Shark Tank style ideas incubator for Google's global POps organization to give POps Googlers a platform to gain senior support and resourcing for their best ideas. Winning ideas include a product launched across Google in 2018 to offer automated nudges to Googlers at important moments (ex. sending resources to new managers) as well as a confidential hiring technology project launching across Google's global staffing org in mid-2021. Show less The foo.bar challenge is a secret coding game hidden across Google's products to find diverse talent pools untapped by traditional channels and to align them to the right roles at Google (ex. farmer turned software engineer). As the program lead, I identified, scoped and led strategic growth projects to scale Foo.bar’s “new to Google” candidate pipeline in alignment with Google’s hiring needs. I drove the approach and delivery of dozens of Easter Egg campaigns (hidden game entry points) through partnerships with internal and external programming partners as well as legal, staffing, marketing and engineering teams to achieve pipeline and hiring goals. My role included managing a team of six Googlers across EMEA and Americas and a team of creative agency vendors to execute strategic plans. Show less
