      A prevention program that encourages, strengthens, and supports pregnant or parenting teens. Provided home visitation services focused on education, child development, health issues, and family support. Offered case management and counseling services as well as housing and financial assistance, life skills training, interpersonal skill building, goal setting, and community referrals as needed. Created programs that help young parents learn the skills necessary to live successfully on their own. Topics included cooking, laundry, general housekeeping, budgeting, employability skills training, GED prep and exploration of post-secondary education, learning the skills necessary to become self-sufficient and live independently.
