During this course I learned fundamentals of Emotional Intelligence, Empathy and Personal Development.These skills are the key for a correct self-management and, hence, for controlling feelings and managing my own emotions in healthy ways. Additionally, this course has been extremely valuable to recognize my strengths and weaknesses, and to recognize the power dynamics in a group.       Objective:To develop an AI solution for detecting damaged chrome parts in vehicles, with the aim of improving production processes and reducing costs.Approach:- Built a BERT transformer model to detect damaged chrome parts in vehicles, achieving between 80-95% precision and recall for 8 different vehicle parts.- Improved the selection of particular front bumpers, rear bumpers, and end caps in production by up to 13%, resulting in a reduction of mean paint cost error per claim by $23.5, and a $551,000 impact per year.- Contributed to the development of a pip-installable Python package for future use and scalability.Overall, the developed AI solution using a BERT transformer model proved to be effective in detecting damaged chrome parts in vehicles, resulting in improved production processes and significant cost savings for the company. Show less Objective: To lower the False Positive Rate of a crash detection model with a highly imbalanced dataset, using sensor data from mobile devices.Approach:- Enhanced a model for mobile crash detection by using accelerometer and gyroscope values of the driver's phone.- Improved the model's recall by 18.21% and reduced the false positive rate by 80.65% in production.- Developed two additional models by adding features to a Convolutional 1D and an LSTM model.- Tuned hyperparameters using XGBoost.- Proposed a voting method for ensembling the four different models.Overall, this project showcases my expertise in machine learning, model optimization, and data analysis.Needed skills:Convolutional 1D | LSTM units | Self-Attention layers | XGBoost | Data Augmentation | Hyperparameter optimization | Docker Containers | Kubernetes | Gitlab Show less
