      During my time in college, I was a part of major projects initiated by NIFT and managed by the Head of departments. A few notable projects were research projects for VisionNxt India’s first trend forecasting lab, Product design projects for IIT And IISER Tirupati, Concept Photography for Chennai Photo Biennale. I also got a chance to intern with Indian sportswear and streetwear brands Proline and Moral Science respectively. My time in NIFT exposed me to many interesting topics of research where I completed my papers on Auxetic textiles, plant based packaging material and fungi based resist dying techniques. Inspired by parametric design principles and three dimensional origami tessellations these textiles are explored and incorporated in the clothing as a 0 waste size-inclusive, gender neutral design.
