CIR is invested in the Professional Development of young physicians in training and as such, has provided a variety of opportunities and programing centered around Patient Advocacy, Resident Community, Academic Learning, and Community Service.My role as a NY Regional VP is to serve as a member of the Board of Directors and represent the interest of the Resident Members located in NY in both maintaining and improving existing benefits, as well as, helping to guide the future direction of the orgainazation.I serve as the Secretary Treasurer of the Patient Care Trust Fund, an entitiy which provides grants to members requesting funding for hospital equipment, educational material and healthcare quality improvement research.
