  I was selected to intern for the office of Senator Jeff Sessions. I served in the capacity as the Chief of Staff's intern. In this role, I was required to: handle the daily logistics of a Senatorial office, attend committee hearings and floor arguments, construct memorandums to be circulated throughout the office regarding policy issues, and serve as a liaison on behalf of our office to other Congressional offices. The internship cultivated my written and oral communication skills, while promoting a climate conducive to furthering my knowledge and engagement of civic issues. In addition to my daily duties, I attended symposiums hosted by various political figures, advocacy groups, and inter-governmental organizations.
