Duties included but were not limited to: pre- and post-award grant management, contract negotiations, departmental hiring and personnel processes, budget development and overall operational aspects of the department. Maintained the fiscal integrity of the department; this included but was not limited to ensuring that all expenditures were within budgets and available sources of funding. Educated the faculty on funds management and was responsible for implementing and adhering to all relevant rules, regulations and procedures as they related to the administrative and financial operation of the department.
