  I have worked in healthcare for over 25 years with the last 11 + years as an APRN. Most of my career has been in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care settings. This fall I shifted my focus to Correctional Medicine and have a renewed passion and love for patient care. My focus has always includes providing safe, up-to-date quality medical care, while also encouraging the patient to be pro active by taking responsibility for their own health care needs. I find joy in helping patients understand not only the disease process, but the decision-making that occurs in their treatment plan and encouraging them to take ownership in their healthcare.
